The Alberta Beach Public Works shop facilitity is located at 4000 Museum Road. The Alberta Beach Public Works Department employs 3 full time employees. The vision of the Alberta Beach Public Works Department is to provide quality service to Alberta Beach residents with pride, courtesy, and commitment. Our Public Works Department offers services essential to our daily lives. Public Works is responsible for Blue Bag collection (the 2nd & 4th Wednesday of the month), maintaining our roadways, roadway surfacing maintenance including grading, snow removal, winter chipping, installations of signs, street sweeping, line painting, park improvements and general village maintenance. Your comments, opinions, and suggestions are important to our department and our success depends on your satisfaction. All work requests\complaints regarding roadways, snow clearing, drainage etc. must be submitted in writing to the Village Office in-person or via email at aboffice@albertabeach.com.

 



BLUE BAG/RECYCLING NOTES:
We provide curbside blue bag recycling pick up twice per month (2nd & 4th Wednesday of the month year round to residents for the following:
Newsprint/Heavy paper: newspaper, magazines, phone books, catalogues, flyers
Mixed Paper: office paper, junk mail, shredded paper, etc.
Boxboard: cereal boxes, pasta boxes, etc.
Containers: milk jugs & cartons, food cans, beverage containers, plastic containers #1-7.
Corrugated cardboard (heavy duty cardboard boxes)

We also provide residents recycle bins (blue) that are located in a designated area (unmanned) for their use (PAPER & CARDBOARD ONLY). Bins are located behind the Village Office next to the fence of the old PW shop.
