| Does my dog require a license? Yes! Alberta Beach offers lifetime dog tags. If you are a resident of Alberta Beach a license is required for all dogs over 3 months of age. The cost of the license is $20.00 for unaltered males or females and $10.00 for neutered males or females. |

| If I am building or renovating, do I need a building permit? Alberta Beach does not issue building permits. All construction, including renovations, development and demolition, must have the required permits. The Development Officer for Alberta Beach issues Development Permits. A development Permit deals with the use of the land, a building permit deals with the structure built on the land. A building permit is issued with respect to the compliance of the building codes of Alberta and issued by a building inspector recognized by the province. Alberta Beach is not accredited to one inspection agency. Alberta Beach has a list of available building, electrical, plumbing and gas inspection agencies authorized by Alberta Municipal Affairs to issue permits.
